Josh and Ashley are MARRIED!

Happy March 1st! Can you believe it's March already?!?! wow!

Well, to kick off this rockin month, here is a quick look at Josh and Ashley's wedding from a few weeks back at the beautiful Strand Country Club. Loved. :) We wish you both many, many blessings!

Grace Ormonde Wedding Style

John and I are very excited to announce that Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine has chosen to list Kenzie Shores Photography on their invitation-only platinum list. A directory of top wedding professionals from around the world. I can not tell you or even explain how excited John and I were when we got the phone call last month. I've been dying to share this with everyone I come in contact with but I had to wait until everything was set in place. It's such an honor to be listed among what is considered the best of the best in the industry around the world. Thank you to all our wonderful clients for letting us be us and shooting our hearts out in order to earn this privilege. :) No doubt will we continue to strive to be the best we can :)

Jeff and Colleen are ENGAGED!

Here's a fun engagement session to kick off your week! :) Jeff and Colleen are getting married this May at the Powell Crosley Estate :) and May couldn't get here any faster ;) Colleen was our very first bride booked for 2010, and she booked us back in December 2008. whew, I guess when you know who you want its good to snatch them up early ;) lol. Needless to say, we can't wait til their wedding :) :) :)

Amber and Alex are MARRIED!

"you're my wife! you're my wife!" Those were the words Alex said with such great excitement to his new bride Amber. It was so cute to watch the two of them, so incredibly happy and very much in Love. I love love, and most of all, I love when a couple as sweet as Amber and Alex get together. All just seems right with the world. As John and I watched these two together we couldn't help but smile and share in their laughter and excitement because its just so infectious. :)

One of the things I love most about my job, aside from capturing and being a part of incredible moments, is knowing that in some way, I helped with the planning :) no way am I trying to become a planner, I'm definitly not that skilled ;), but to be able to pass on the knowledge and creative ideas from a previous bride to the next always warms my heart. I guess because John and I were the first to get married out of our friends and family and it was right before we fell into the wedding industry, so we had no idea what to do or where to go. Now when I'm at a wedding I get so excited over all the little details and I'm happy to share them with you. :) For Amber and Alex, it was the venue. They chose to get married at The Courtyard at Lake Lucern. I actually did not know she was getting married there, I had it written down that she was getting married in another town in a church! lol, but one month before the wedding Amber saw Kim and Dave's wedding on our blog from May 2009 at Lake Lucern and decided that that was the place for her :) and I'm glad she did, because it was absolutely beautiful.
